Our Mission

Our purpose is to reach new souls for the Kingdom of God. To become involved in the up-lifting of our community and to educate its people on who Christ is. Our mission statement says, "Having been led by the Holy Spirit we are striving for a church rooted in Christian education; community involvement, and a better tomorrow through winning souls for Christ; while waiting for the return of our Lord, and Savior Jesus Christ." John 14:6 I am the way and the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me.

Our prayer is that you would be blessed and strengthened by the power of Jesus Christ and that you will live a life of abundance in fellowship, joy and liberty. New Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church is here for you. It is a fellowship of believers coming together to declare the glory of the Lord and celebrate Jesus as King. We study the Word, practice what we learn and in the process grow together. May God richly bless you!

I'm Pastor Vernon L. Tynes Sr., and this is my wife Bernice Tynes. Welcome to the New Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church website. We're glad that you took a moment to check us out.
